Therefore, it can be that the name Runabout today includes Offshorer, Center Console boats and other recreational engine powered pleasure crafts that had nothing or very little in common with the original elegant and elitist character of the Runabout.This gorgeous example was built as a passenger carrying day boat and reportedly owned at various times by actors Wes Parker and James Dean. Aside from the traditional Runabout and constructive retro models, the term Runabout today is increasingly open, and will vary in its specification. In addition, the traditional Runabout motor boats provide excellent water ski tow boats. Therefore, the Runabout has no cabin, but offers comfortable seating for five people and a large sun deck at the rear. The Runabout reflects the archetype of the exclusive motor boat, and is now available in different interpretations. There is no other boat type in which tradition and modernity are so close together as in the Runabout.
